About the Pastor
Pastor Jeremy Kitchen was born August 15, 1980 in Black Mountain, North Carolina. He received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on March 22, 1999 when he was 18 years old. Pastor Jason Bartlett led him to Christ and under his ministry in July of 1999 the Lord put him into the ministry. On January 10, 2004 he married Audra Fillmore of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. They have been happily married for 18 years. The Lord has blessed them with five children; Benjamin, Seth, Abigail, Heidi, and Anna.
For over 20 years Pastor has been serving the Lord in the ministry. He graduated from Shawnee Baptist College in 2003. Also, in 2003 he was ordained to the work of the Lord by Shawnee Baptist Church. Then he was the associate pastor at Eastside Baptist Church in North Carolina. In 2004 he began to serve as an assistant pastor at Shawnee Baptist Church in Kentucky. He served as the bus director and in many other areas of church work. Along with being an assistant pastor he was privileged to pastor True Gospel Baptist Church in Pennsylvania.
ON MARCH 22, 2015 Pastor was voted in unanimously as the pastor of Wayside Baptist Church. He has a vision to reach the lost, carry out the Great Commission, lead the church to experience growth, and bring glory to God. By God’s grace Wayside Baptist Church will continue in the ways of the Lord, the old paths, the good way.
